Holocaust Memory, Genocide Prevention, and the War in Gaza
Friday, November 1, 2024 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM EDT
Zoom Webinar only
Join us for a virtual conversation between Professor Andrew Port of Wayne State University and Professor Omer Bartov of Brown University, both eminent historians of modern Germany and the Holocaust. They will be discussing how Germany – and the world at large – remembers the Holocaust, how that memory has informed global approaches to genocide in the eighty years since the end of the Second World War, and what it has to do with the war in Gaza.
Professor Samuel Clowes Huneke (George Mason) will moderate.
