The Queer Studies Reading Group discusses contemporary and classic works in queer and trans studies. Faculty, graduate students, and staff from any Mason department are welcome to join! This semester we will be thinking about the relationship between queerness/queer studies and the state.

In this session we will be discussing Samuel Clowes Huneke, A Queer Theory of the State (Columbia UP, 2023). Email Sam at shuneke@gmu.edu if you'd like a PDF of the reading. As ever, just read as much of the book as you can!
