Slavery Studies Reading Group

This reading group discusses recent books and articles involving slavery from different disciplinary and geographical perspectives. For each meeting, participants can either complete a monograph or a shorter reading (either a chapter or article) in case reading the book is unrealistic. Participants are always welcome to attend and discuss even if they have not completed any of these readings.

For this session we will be screening the film The Last Supper (La última cena). We will watch this film together as a group that will be followed by a time of discussion. This screening will take place in person in Horizon Hall 6325 at 2 pm.
